# Section 5b: Ad-hoc policies for grants

In addition to what is documented here in this user guide, the Funding Circle may put in place safe-guarding policies when administering grants. An example of such a policy is the [Community Accountability Policy](https://cloud.perma.earth/s/knXDDjnWSixrKQQ) in place for the Next Steps Project. Similarly all circles / project / working groups may have their own additional policies in place.
